Woman and Child Abuse
To activate and coordinate club programmes to specifically address the issues of woman and child abuse such as rape, mental and physical abuse. To act as the vehicle for handling all complaints and issues relating to women and child abuse in the district.

To encourage and foster activities by Clubs to improve the provision of potable water and sanitation, and improvement in hygiene.

To co-ordinate the ordering, receipt and distribution of wheelchairs received from the Wheelchair Foundation.

Literacy Programme
To promote simple cost effective methodologies for teaching basic literacy to children and adults and co-ordinate literacy activities.

Preserve Planet Earth - Save the Environment
To promote projects or additions to projects that will help preserve planet earth (e.g. inexpensive solar ovens, solar water heating).

Crisis Management
To act as a resource, give advice and assist when a Club or D9350 is faced with a crisis (e.g. Youth exchange students or GSE Team members are seriously injured in an accident. Besides other factors, often this sort of incident requires handling the media).

To liaise with ShelterBox. To ensure safe storage and assist in the distribution of ShelterBoxes. To encourage Clubs to sponsor the cost of ShelterBoxes.
