District Governor Nominating Committee
The committee calls for nominations for DG from all clubs in the District by 30 April and is responsible for nominating the future DG by 30 June, two years prior to his taking office.
A nominee must fulfil the following conditions:

  • Be a member, in good standing, in a Club in the District
  • Served a full term as President of a Rotary Club
  • Has been a member of Rotary for seven years
  • Has a good knowledge of Rotary, its aims and objectives

District Finance Committee
The committee, through its Treasurer, administers the finances of the District on behalf of the DG, formulating policy relating to financial matters and assists clubs in the administration of their finances.
The committee comprises of the DG, Immediate PDG, DGE, DGN, District Treasurer, and a member appointed by the DG at the time to serve a three-year term. Other members may be co-opted but will have no vote.

District Conference Operating Committee
A standing committee chaired by the DGN and comprising District Treasurer and Immediate Past DG to advise the DG and DGE on the planning of the conference and assembly with regard to such matters as budgets, RI Representative, programme content, speakers, registration, software, etc.

On behalf and with the DG plans tthe District Conference and District Assembly in Hermanus, with reference to such matters as the program, functions, speakers, theme, etc.
