GEORGE PRESIDENT HOSTS A TEDDY BEAR'S PICNIC

 

George Rotary Club’s recent Presidents induction Lunch was an Induction with a difference, the theme was ‘A Teddy Bears Picnic’; each Rotarian was requested to bring a soft teddy toy to be donated to a local trauma Clinic.

 

After being inducted into Rotary, the Teddy Bears will be reporting for duty at George Child & Family Welfare where these 46 brave Teddies will be deployed in their Child Trauma Centre.

 

The event was held at the Far Hills Hotel in George for the induction of president elect, Frances Feig, by outgoing President Simon Swan, and presided over by AG Southern Cape Di Kershaw. Honoured guests included; Visiting Rotarians from neighbouring clubs, former ADGs and Presidents of Rotary Clubs, and current members of the Rotary club of George and their partners and representatives of Interact.
